Dive site Nusa Kode promises best diving sessions for novices and advanced alike. There are not many currents here. In fact, even when the current is flowing, it is rather mild at 0-1 knot. Average depth here is around 18 meters but you can try swimming down to 30 meters. Horizontal visibility is around 20 meters but unfortunately there are not many fish to see here. In addition, this dive site can be too cold at its 21 degrees minimum temperature. It is never too hot though, as it is only 29 degrees at maximum – promising best diving throughout the day.

Even during our best diving session here we would not find abundant of fish. This is interesting as the place is rich in plankton. The corals here are also relatively undamaged. In fact, corals cover almost eighty percent of its seabed.

Still, this dive site can provide us with best diving as we can explore unique boulders. If you stay underwater long enough, you will probably encounter large fish such as giant trouper, potato cod, and Malabar grouper. Most of the times, we will meet schools of fast-moving snappers, though.
